Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Therapist (Louisiana License) - Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students and their guardians
• Collaborate with other therapists to ensure smooth transitions into services
• Maintain relationships with school personnel and provide culturally relevant counseling

Required Qualifications and Training

• Licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) without restrictions
• Licensed in Louisiana for a minimum of 3 years
• Additional licensure in other states is preferred or must be eligible to apply
• Ability to be enrolled with insurance companies, including Medicaid
• Proficient in technology and able to navigate clinical platforms and software applications
