Loan Processor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Processor, Wholesale, Submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan submissions, monitor incoming documents, and verify data collected by brokers
• Organize and input loan information into the Loan Origination System (LOS) and maintain open files
• Communicate with various stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues and ensure compliance with guidelines

Required Qualifications and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience required
• One to two (1-2) years of loan processing work experience required
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan processing and underwriting guidelines
• Experience with Encompass/Empower preferred
• Familiarity with Desktop Underwriting (DU), Loan Prospector (LP), and/or other Automated Underwriting Engines (AUS) preferred
