Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Principal Civil Structural Engineer of Federal Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze changes to existing power plants and new plant systems, including static and dynamic analysis for seismic loads
  • Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions
  • Develop equipment mounting, foundation design, and pipe support calculations and designs while ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Minimum 10 years of power system design experience
  • Experience working on DOE federal projects
  • Familiarity with concrete and steel design codes and working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
