Licensed Medical Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Quality Assurance Manager SSA.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer quality assurance reviews of medical assessments and ensure compliance with SSA policies
• Conduct training and provide guidance to Medical Consultants (MCs) on case reviews and assessments
• Monitor and track case assignments for timely completion and address any quality errors identified

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited institution
• Valid unrestricted medical license in one of the 50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands
• Minimum three years of medical practice experience within the last seven years
• At least one year of experience with SSA disability claims as an Independent Medical Consultant
• Completion of formal SSA medical consultant training
