Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel responsible for supporting solar project acquisition, development, and financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transactional assistance on solar acquisition, development, and financing transactions, including due diligence and negotiating purchase agreements
  • Negotiate EPC contracts and related documents
  • Manage coordination with developers, EPC contractors, and outside counsel
Required Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Current license to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions
  • 3+ years of legal experience in the renewables industry, with a preference for solar DG or community solar experience
  • Experience with EPC contracts and familiarity with financing structures (debt and tax equity)
  • Ability to interface with various levels of the organization and external parties
