Lead Engineer Microgrid Applications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Engineer - Microgrid and BESS Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide resilient power system solutions utilizing diverse energy resources
• Lead design and coordination efforts for microgrid projects involving various DER technologies
• Manage engineering subconsultants and construction partners to ensure project success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience for lead position, or four (4) years for senior position in relevant projects
• Experience in design areas such as Distribution, Substation Protection & Control, or Substation Physical
• Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE 1547)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam
