Position Overview The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Electronics Integrated Project Team Engineer – (Product Support), for Electronics Product team located at Bangalore, India Boeing India Engineering to ensure all required templates and reporting is aligned for all business reviews such as: Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), Product Line Review (PLR), and any other required program management reviews. Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform the following duties: You will be responsible for the development of product sustenance of fielded electronics hardware and its firmware for avionics application in close co-ordination with software, firmware, mechanical and certification authorities. You will engage into planning, tracing performance to planned progress to sustain the products at factory and customers. You will work with other concurrent engineering teams such as software and certification authorities to prove compliance upon developed hardware through traceability and related tools. Develops or supports product team leader with the Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and supporting elements, drives program planning through the Enterprise Gated Process in support of the Program execution plan. Is the assigned Cost Account Manager or assists Product Line CAMs for a program and monitors/tracks performance on plan versus actuals for earned value reporting Identifies, analyzes and reports schedule performance variances with detailed data to include performance to plan and estimate at complete reporting updates. Prepares, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes and maintains, integrated plans and schedules for Product development programs. Creates, tracks and provides status on program execution and performs detailed risk analysis Manages small to medium projects with minimal mentorship from Program Group Leads project reviews with Larger Program Teams through events such as PDR, CDR and TRR Lead technical scope development through robust traceable compliance metrics and standards Responsible for developed Project Plan, schedule, resource plan and project budget within the project team Responsible to understand and report the project technical plan to progress against TPMs decided Responsible for supervising engineering achievements like on time delivery, quality etc. Responsible to seamlessly guide a technical team towards scope and resolving intra functional and inter functional conflicts for unified project team goals Responsible to co-ordinate with supply chain/sourcing and regulatory authorities for hardware development globally Works with functional leaders in engineering, Finance, T&E, supply chain, IT&DA and production to address product line needs and resolve critical items to support product development and deliveries Performs schedule, event and change impact analysis Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required as a basic qualification. 12+ years of direct project management experience in technical product development environments for Electronic products comprising firmware Lead hardware development over display products, communication products and Data center products Experience with FAA (commercial) or defense airworthiness certification requirements and good understanding of CAR Requirements Experience in doing through documentations with certification authorities Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) PMP Certification and/or Agile Certifications Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+10 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.) Relocation: This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
