Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Technical Writer to support documentation and content development across multiple IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting technical documents, SOPs, user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base content
• Work with engineers, developers, and PMs to understand and document system specifications and workflows
• Maintain version control and ensure consistency across documentation sets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in technical writing or related field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic publishing tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, WordPress)
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into readable content
