Job Summary

A company is looking for a Japanese Text Annotator Specialist to support the development and enhancement of AI and machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, review, and annotate large volumes of text data with high accuracy and consistency
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines to label data according to various categories
• Collaborate with project managers and linguists to refine annotation rules and resolve ambiguities

Required Qualifications

• Native-level or near-native fluency in Japanese and strong command of English
• Prior experience with text annotation, linguistic data labeling, or NLP-related projects is preferred
• Familiarity with linguistic concepts such as syntax, semantics, and pragmatics is a plus
• Comfortable working with annotation tools, spreadsheets, or task platforms
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
