IT Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Application Engineer - Maintenance/Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain ORLS applications within EMS or ADMS platforms
• Develop and support automated and operator-driven load shedding and restoration processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ORLS solutions align with operational goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Power Systems, or a related field
• Working knowledge of databases such as MS SQL and Oracle
• Working knowledge of APIs, including CAISO and EMS integrations
• Scripting knowledge in Python and Java
• Experience with tracking/project management tools like JIRA and GitHub
