Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist who will manage patient referrals and documentation in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes, meeting productivity and quality standards
• Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
• Collaborate with local branch leadership to ensure appropriate inventory and services are provided

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One (1) year of work experience in healthcare administrative roles, customer service, or related fields
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
• Knowledge of payer guidelines and clinical documentation
• Proficient in navigating multiple online EMR systems
