Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of inpatient ICD-10 coded records for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians to enhance clinical documentation quality
• Assign ICD-10 codes and provide ongoing education on coding and compliance best practices

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of facility-based auditing and coding experience
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of federal, state, and payer regulations
• Ability to interpret medical records and work independently or as part of a team
