Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist I (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information while maintaining confidentiality and security
• Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
• Assist with administrative duties and respond to requests for patient records in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use general office equipment
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons as needed
• Ability to commute between locations as required
• Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
