Geospatial Standardization Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Support Specialist for NATO Geospatial Standardization Processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the GeoMetoc Syndicate and report on activities and progress
• Support and participate in JGSWG working groups as a subject matter expert, reporting on activities and progress
• Coordinate frequently with the NCI Agency JISR C GeoMetoc CapDev lead regarding study progress and content

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum 5 years of experience in geospatial standardization
• Experience working within NATO and/or national geospatial standardization
• Familiarity with NATO Standardization bodies and processes
• Knowledge of OGC GeoPackage Encoding Standard and related OGC Standards
• Active NATO SECRET security clearance required
