General Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Accounting Analyst II (Remote).

Responsibilities

• Calculate month-end journal entries and book associated month-end journals for APD Programs
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and analyze any monthly variances
• Assist in the preparation of Statutory Financial Reports and respond to audit inquiries

Qualifications/Education

• Accounting degree or equivalent with 4 years of experience required
• Prior working knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and accounting preferred
• Excellent computer software skills, particularly in Excel
• Some insurance knowledge is desired
• Must demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork
