A company is looking for a Freelance Subtitle Translator/QCer & SDH/CC Author/QC.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and create subtitles for TV and movie content across multiple languages
• Perform quality control checks on subtitles to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards
• Utilize subtitle editing software and technology to enhance the subtitling process

Required Qualifications

• Native proficiency in the target language
• Strong command of the source language
• Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation, or subtitling
• University degree or equivalent professional experience in the translation field
• Experience with subtitle editing software and a deep understanding of closed captioning and subtitling challenges
