With collections that blend structure, subtlety, and bold expression, we’re now looking for a creative and detail-driven freelance fashion designer to bring our next line to life.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled freelance fashion designer (based in India) who can conceptualize, sketch, and refine streetwear, casuals, oversized fits, and premium unisex pieces. The ideal candidate is fashion-savvy, understands brand alignment, and has a strong grasp of garment construction and digital design tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Design original pieces (T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, and more) in line with Equinette’s brand ethos.
• Create detailed tech packs including flat sketches, measurements, trims, and colorways.
• Provide clear print placement, embroidery, and fabric detailing.
• Collaborate with creative leads and founders to align on concepts, themes, and drops.
• Adapt to seasonal trends while maintaining timeless brand aesthetics.

Requirements
• Proven experience in fashion or apparel design (freelance or brand-based).
• Must have a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work (streetwear, oversized fits, or premium basics preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CLO 3D / other CAD tools.
• Understanding of fabrics, construction, and finishing (especially cottons, terry, pique, knits).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to revisions and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and deliver within timelines.

Bonus If You Have
• Experience working with clothing brands or manufacturers.
• Interest in sustainable fashion or ethical production.
• Branding, print design, or garment dye knowledge.
