Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner Behavioral Health for a PRN remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and collaborate with healthcare staff on patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Assess patients for acute suicide and violence risk, recommending appropriate levels of care
• Coordinate services and education for patients, families, and staff to promote quality care

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program
• Master's or Doctorate degree required
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• APRN licensure and DEA certification required within specified timeframes after hire
