Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Shop Diesel Mechanic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced mechanical repairs on various vehicles
• Manage tasks effectively, prioritizing work and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist with diagnostics and repairs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Possess a set of hand tools necessary for the job
• Must obtain ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months of employment
• Must pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and physical
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to interstate commerce regulations
