Required Qualifications
Completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
2 to 4 years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
Experience as a cardiology coder is required
Possession of relevant certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
Knowledge of coding conventions and regulations from relevant healthcare organizations
