A company is looking for a Financial Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with registration, insurance verification, authorization, and price estimation
• Confirm patient identity and ensure compliance with Medicare medical necessity and billing requirements
• Navigate and interpret information from various payers to ensure accurate claims processing and billing

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post high school training or associate degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer relations role required
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology desired
• Excellent computer skills are required
