Description Overview:
• In this executive function (EF) coaching role, you will help college students and adults master EF skills (organizing, planning, prioritizing, managing time, and maintaining focus) in order to promote academic or professional success as well as social and emotional well-being in a college or professional setting.
• The coach will support college students and adults in setting actionable goals, and then assist in establishing and tracking daily tasks to meet those goals.
• A great EF Coach always takes a holistic approach–taking all aspects of life into consideration. Understanding that the demands of college, professional, and family life are intrinsically interconnected with social-emotional health is a key attribute of our coaches.
Hours:
• 6-12 hours/week (Typically our clients meet at the same time every weekday)
• Minimum caseload of 6 clients (approximately 2 hours a week per client, including indirect contact hours)
• Hours of availability: 9am-2pm (Arizona time zone)
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who will thrive working with clients virtually, in a one-to-one setting. Successful candidates will have an understanding of executive function skills, and can articulate the value of those skills. Experience working with neurodivergent individuals is a plus. Developing meaningful and respectful connections is the core of this program–a candidate must excel at establishing these relationships with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Master’s degree in Education, Teaching, Special Education, or Behavioral Analysis (required)
• Minimum 10 years experience in teaching, academic support, or intervention work
• Must be knowledgeable in the areas of ADHD, learning disabilities, processing issues and the impact of executive function skills
