Emergency Medical Dispatcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dispatcher I to manage intake, triage, and access to care for members across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen requests for services from members and gather necessary information
• Demonstrate effective communication and manage expectations during calls
• Monitor field resource status and respond to emergency alerts appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Completion of education and field preceptorship as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic or equivalent clinical triage experience
• Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification or higher
• 3+ years of experience as a telecommunicator or dispatcher, preferably in an EMD center
• Ability to tolerate keyboarding and sitting or standing for extended periods
• Access to a secluded workspace with reliable internet service
