EDI Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI solutions for HIPAA transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and write T-SQL in SQL Server and SSIS packages to support Vendor Interfaces
• Analyze business and system requirements to develop systems specifications and execute unit test plans
• Perform data mapping of ANSI HIPAA EDI files and provide data analysis support for business areas

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant experience
• Three to five years of application development experience in a Microsoft environment, preferably in healthcare systems
• Experience with ANSI X12, XML, HL7 formatted EDI transactions, and SSIS packages
• Understanding of data dependencies between applications and systems
• Strong analytical and programming skills with demonstrated project management abilities
