ED ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ED Profee Coding Specialist to provide coding services for various medical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines
• Maintain productivity and quality standards, participating in ongoing training and education

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must have reliable internet and current coding materials
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
