Distribution Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design overhead and underground distribution electrical facilities, including new customer connections and street lighting
• Address engineering challenges and collaborate with electric utilities and private developers on various projects
• Provide project support by drafting documents, computations, and local permit applications while maintaining precision and technical expertise

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of NESC, PENG, and client requirements
• Design experience in distribution, transmission, and substation projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering design software applications
• Strong math and engineering skills, including structural and sag analysis
• Preferred experience with DDS and AUD software
