Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Events to lead the production and execution of conferences and special convenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans and strategies for signature events
• Oversee event logistics, including securing venues, managing budgets, and ensuring high standards of sustainability and inclusivity
• Supervise contractors and vendors while fostering cross-department collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in leading complex multi-day events, preferably in nonprofit or sustainability sectors
• Proven success in producing large-scale events (1,000+ attendees), both in-person and virtual
• CMP, CMM, or equivalent certification preferred
• Deep understanding of event budgeting, negotiation, and logistics
• Experience with digital event platforms and project management tools
