Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the development of the Infinia Data Engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on data ingestion, transformation, and streaming
• Design and implement high-performance, cloud-optimized connectors integrating with open-source tools
• Oversee development of end-to-end data workflows for AI/ML model training and real-time analytics

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale analytics platforms
• Proven experience in building and leading high-performance engineering teams
• Deep technical expertise in open-source data frameworks such as Trino, Delta Lake, and Apache Iceberg
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployment architectures
• Proficiency in distributed computing and system-level performance optimization
