Director of Container Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Container Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations and management of cloud Kubernetes infrastructure on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Lead and develop a diverse global team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
• Implement and promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and automation within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing Kubernetes infrastructure
• Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, infrastructure services, networking, and security
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in a 24/7 operational environment
• Demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and dedication in a technical role
