Denials Senior Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Senior Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Business Office, Legal Department, and outside counsel regarding outstanding litigation
• Coordinate legal analysis for denied, underpaid, and unpaid managed care accounts for legal referral
• Review existing documentation to verify claim balance calculations and ensure integrity in supporting documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college education is helpful
• 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, collections, appeals, or legal department functions
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Intermediate analytical and math skills
