DataStage Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Datastage Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision user accounts and manage access, including installing DataStage on Linux or Windows Servers
• Install, configure, and upgrade IBM InfoSphere DataStage and related products, while managing the DataStage environment
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning techniques

Required Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Datastage Admin role
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and processes
• Experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (IIS) and Linux/Unix systems administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with SQL and databases
