Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Architect to design and optimize cloud-native databases and data models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable cloud data models and database architectures that meet business and mission needs
• Develop and maintain automated deployment and monitoring code for cloud database infrastructure
• Lead or contribute to data and database migration from legacy on-premises systems to Azure or AWS cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with database deployment, configuration, and performance optimization
• 3+ years of experience migrating databases and data from on-premises environments to Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with cloud and traditional relational databases, including Azure SQL and AWS RDS/Aurora
• Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms such as Azure Synapse and SQL Data Warehouse
• Proficiency in implementing automated database deployment and monitoring solutions
