Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oracle / AIX Database Administration Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnoses complex problems and manages system outages within the AIX environment
• Onboards customers into Oracle and DB2 environments and supports their migration
• Architects and documents database installations while ensuring compliance with state standards and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a technical role
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Database Administration with a focus on Oracle performance tuning
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations with UNIX/IBM AIX technology
• Experience in integrating changes and monitoring system performance
• Expertise in engineering designs and administration of AIX environments
