Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service Cloud Program Office Initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of existing data and cloud landscapes and analyze service offerings
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture cloud and data-specific needs and develop service delivery models
  • Assist in the implementation of cloud-based AI capabilities, ETL pipelines, and data governance processes
Required Qualifications
  • Must have current and active Public Trust Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business analysis and data science within a cloud environment
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, with experience in cloud ETL processes and data warehousing technologies
