Experience Required: 6–10 years (Oracle BI/ODI, Infrastructure, WebLogic)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle BI & ODI Upgrade Specialist to lead the upgrade of our current OBIEE and ODI environments to the latest versions of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and ODI. This role involves infrastructure setup, migration planning, performance benchmarking, and stress testing, with a strong focus on high availability and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Upgrade & Migration:
• Upgrade OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
• Upgrade the existing ODI platform to the latest supported version.
• Plan and execute the migration of five instances in parallel with minimal downtime.
• Conduct environment benchmarking pre- and post-migration to validate performance.
• Perform stress testing and full-load execution to ensure post-upgrade stability.

Infrastructure Setup:
• Establish infrastructure to host the upgraded OAS and ODI environments.
• Implement high availability and DR setup for production readiness.
• Recommend architectural changes, including whether to co-locate or separate OBIEE and ODI services.

Configuration & Integration:
• Configure LDAP and SSO within WebLogic Server.
• Collaborate with identity and security teams to ensure smooth authentication integration.
• Validate that OCI Key Vault is not required, in line with existing cloud infrastructure policies.

Collaboration & Documentation:
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and Oracle support for a seamless transition.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation covering architecture, performance benchmarks, and migration steps.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and provide post-upgrade support during the AMS (Application Maintenance Support) phase.

Requirements:
• Proven experience with OBIEE to OAS migration.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ODI upgrades and ETL process migrations.
• Solid background in WebLogic, LDAP, and SSO configuration.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Experience with performance tuning, environment benchmarking, and DR planning.
• Ability to manage simultaneous migrations across multiple environments.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
