Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional Ortho Surgical Medical Coder - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality surgical coding on orthopedic surgery cases and E/M as assigned
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles, ensuring accurate coding for all documented services
• Review coding queues daily, address corrections, and communicate with relevant staff to ensure compliance and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of physician coding experience, including IP and OP coding for physician claims
• 2-3 years of experience coding orthopedic procedures
• Active CPC certification from AAPC
• EMR experience and advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
