Job Summary

A company is looking for a Document & Coding Education Development Specialist, responsible for developing and implementing educational programs related to documentation and coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement educational programs for providers on documentation and coding
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for internal departments
• Present educational classes to groups of providers and staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in curriculum development may be considered
• Three (3) years of coding experience required
• Two (2) years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design
• At least one certification such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA is required
