CPA Vice President, Corporate Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead its accounting operations and ensure financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, tax, revenue recognition, and month-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and drive improvements in financial policies and internal controls
• Manage relationships with external auditors and partner with various departments to support budgeting and strategic planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required, MBA preferred
• 12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including 5 years in a corporate controller or VP-level role
• Strong technical accounting background with familiarity in US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience in a private equity or venture-backed environment, with knowledge of investor reporting
• 4-5 years of Big 4 public accounting experience and prior successful management experience
