Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager (Remote) to manage core accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and manage GL accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets
• Oversee AP, invoicing/collections, payroll accounting, and support financial statement preparation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and high-growth startups
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Experience with accounting systems and tools (e.g., QBO, Ramp, Stripe)
• Experience in a venture-backed startup environment, ideally from Series A to C
