Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counterparty Risk Analyst to evaluate and maintain broker and correspondent relationships in the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve new and renewal wholesale and correspondent accounts
• Conduct due diligence reviews, including licensing, verification, and credit assessments
• Monitor and address sanctions alerts related to brokers and lenders, ensuring compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage banking, wholesale or correspondent lending, or financial services with a credit/risk focus
• Proficient in credit risk assessment, operational due diligence, and regulatory compliance
• Deep understanding of mortgage processes and broker/lender relationships
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with Comergence and DocuSign
