Controls Engineer with Ignition Experience

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controls Engineer with Ignition experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver process control systems including DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI programming and hardware designs
  • Prepare supporting project documentation and routinely test work for quality and accuracy
  • Provide status reporting to project managers and actively participate in internal and customer meetings


Required Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Controls, Chemical, Computer, or Mechanical preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in controls project phases including system design and commissioning
  • Experience with Ignition SCADA, Allen Bradley PLCs, and Wonderware Archestra HMI
  • Ability to read design documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, and control narratives
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Ladder, C++, JavaScript, or Python
