Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to build their accounting function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements
• Coordinate US GAAP audits with external auditors and manage enterprise billing and revenue recognition
• Implement sales/use tax registrations and manage general tax compliance and filings

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS startup environment
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting function
• Direct experience implementing sales/use tax collection and leading financial audits
• Big 4 experience and CPA preferred
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, US GAAP, and SaaS accounting
