The Direct-to-Consumer Team seeks a Content Programming Associate Manager who will help support business and editorial priorities to achieve our engagement objectives across Disney+ and Hulu, with a focus on driving Hulu KPIs. The role will work with a team of Hulu Content Programmers to create and execute on-platform campaigns and promotions. The right person for this role has familiarity with content management systems, visualization tools, and project management tools. Candidates should also have enthusiasm for growth and a broad knowledge of television, film, and popular culture. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Program, test, and optimize curation across Hulu and Disney+ to best serve the needs of our viewers and the business
• Monitor editorial campaign and upsell pacing and performance to identify optimization opportunities
• Partner with insights, data, and analytics teams on experiment design, data collection, and measurement
• Contribute to title campaign ideation, planning, tracking, and communication across teams and the larger organization
• Manage title prioritization and targeting strategies using audience segmentation tools
• Maintain thorough documentation of processes and identify workflow efficiency
• Troubleshoot creative with partners, standards and practices, and other stakeholders
• Cover evening and weekend programming events, when needed
• Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc programming strategies
WHAT TO BRING
• 1-3 years of experience in content programming, curation, product, audience development, or streaming television
• Familiarity and comfort with using data to make informed decisions by using Tableau, Looker, Conviva, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
• Excellent communication abilities, including comfort presenting to large groups
• Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
• Quick learner; critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, change priorities seamlessly, and remain calm under pressure
• Experience and success growing various audiences across different platforms
• A love of television and movies
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Previous experience working in streaming television
• Strong understanding with Airtable
The hiring range for this position in CA is $71,000.00 to $95,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
