Commercial Analytics Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Analytics Lead to accelerate its mission in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate existing research and conduct original research to build forecasts and models related to commodity markets and operations
• Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis team to address strategic questions from C-suite
• Prepare materials for the Board of Directors and investors or partners

Required Qualifications

• Ideally 3+ years of work experience at a startup, investment firm, or top professional services firm
• Experience building models end-to-end using first-principles and conducting sensitivity analyses
• Strong intuition for global market dynamics
• Strong orientation toward thinking from first principles in science, technology, economics, and business
• Ability to scope, structure, and answer ambiguous or poorly defined problems
