Coding Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA I Coding Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the accuracy of code captures for assigned coders, ensuring a minimum of 95% accuracy
• Conduct image reviews for proper HCC mapped diagnosis coding and complete internal audits as necessary
• Respond to coder inquiries and communicate quality issues and trends to team leads and managers

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Coding certification required through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CRC, CCS, etc.)
• Minimum of one to three years of HCC coding experience
• Demonstrated greater than 95% accuracy in HCC coding work
• Expertise in medical record auditing and adherence to coding guidelines
