Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Trauma Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the Collector Trauma Registry database for trauma patients
• Collect, analyze, and validate trauma data from various sources to ensure accuracy
• Prepare statistical reports and ensure compliance with trauma center designation criteria

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited program in Health Information Technology
• Completion of relevant coding and trauma registry courses within one year of hire
• Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CSTR, or CAISS
• One year experience in health information management or trauma registry
• Familiarity with trauma registry/database systems and coding standards
