Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform DRG coding and inpatient auditing for Trauma Level II or higher facilities
• Validate and audit DRG/APR-DRG coding accuracy
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Active coding certification (CCS or CDIS preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of APR/DRG coding experience
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient auditing experience
• Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation or auditing experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
