Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to support accurate and compliant documentation and coding in mental healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit behavioral health documentation and coding for accuracy, compliance, and completeness
• Deliver actionable feedback to providers through remediation meetings and Coding Office Hours
• Contribute to provider education efforts and collaborate on coding-related initiatives

Required Qualifications

• CPC certification and 2+ years of experience in outpatient or professional services coding, preferably in behavioral health
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and documentation requirements
• Experience with auditing processes; CPMA certification is a plus
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, and EMR platforms
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, digital environment
