Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - National Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize resources to identify appropriate medical codes and ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Generate queries for unclear clinical documentation and follow up with providers as necessary
• Educate and mentor others to improve medical coding quality and manage multiple work demands effectively

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, RHIT, CCS)
• 1+ years of coding experience
• Advanced proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers & HCPCS coding
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and anatomy and physiology
