A company is looking for a HIM Coder Pro Fee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately code hospital inpatient, outpatient, and professional fee encounters using ICD10/ICDPCS, CPT, or HCPC codes
  • Provide interdepartmental coding assistance and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Facilitate revenue optimization while maintaining compliance through auditing, training, and charge capture support
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from AAPC
  • Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) from AHIMA
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from AHIMA
  • Experience in technical coding
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and regulatory guidelines
